Ideal Coffee Grinder Cleaning Granules are made from edible grain particles bound with a food-grade binder, and are designed to clean your grinder from the inside. Run them through the burrs like coffee beans and they scrub away old oils, stale grounds and fine residue from the burrs, powder spout and bean hopper path.
Cleaning is simple: empty the hopper, add the recommended dose (35-40g for a compact grinder, 70-80g for larger on-demand and commercial grinders), grind and discard the output, then flush with a few coffee beans before you resume service. The 250g jar covers multiple cleaning sessions.
Regular cleaning keeps grind consistency steady, prevents stale flavours carrying into fresh shots and protects burr life. Fine dust may be generated while grinding, so take protective measures to avoid inhalation.
